A Note from the Homeowner.
I moved into this house with my children in April 2013, and it became the perfect home for us as a single dad with four kids. It's a wonderfully safe area where we could enjoy playing basketball, hockey, and football right outside the house with other children from the neighbourhood. For more private moments, we made great use of the garden, enjoying meals outside in the sunshine.
The neighbourhood is warm and welcoming, with friendly neighbours and occasional get-togethers once or twice a year. Its proximity to schools, like St Peter's, was a huge benefit for us, and we regularly used the sports facilities at Bulmershe, such as the gym and football pitches. Personally, I loved taking walks through Highwood Park and around South Lake, which offered a peaceful escape.
Shopping is conveniently close, and as a cyclist, I appreciated how bike-friendly the area is. The house is also ideally located for trips to London and the airport, which made life so much easier.
I fully renovated the house in 2021 with new floors, carpets, and fresh white paint throughout, and I completed some additional upgrades in 2024. The two parking spaces were incredibly practical, especially once my daughter had her car.
I hope its lively, family-friendly spirit brings as much joy to its next family as it did to ours.
Alex's Comments
This property has so much to offer, especially for growing families or those looking for a step up from a smaller home. The practical layout includes three bedrooms, two doubles and a single - alongside the convenience of three toilets: a downstairs WC, an ensuite in the master bedroom, and a family bathroom. That kind of flexibility makes daily life so much easier.
Recent renovation works mean the property feels fresh and ready to move into for those looking for an easier life. Parking is a plus, with space for two cars already available and the potential to create a third space, perfect for a growing family.
I also love the kitchen in this home. It's spacious enough for family meals, making it central hub for cooking and family meals.
The position in the cul-de-sac is another highlight. It's quieter than those closer to the A329M, yet close enough to key amenities.
